Members of the Raleigh/Wake Chapter of the NCCU Alumni Association donated oral health items to children who are residents at the Salvation Army located in Raleigh, N. Robin Green, President of the Raleigh/Wake Chapter of the North Carolina Central University Alumni Association presents two gift bags to Barbara Jean Bailey, Guidance Counselor at North Garner Middle School for a needy student. During the Centennial year of the University, the Raleigh/Wake Chapter has sought to connect with the community and live out the University's mission of "Truth and Service".  John Wall is principal at North Garner.

Military personnel risk their lives daily to keep this country and the world safe for all people.  Members of the Raleigh/Wake Chapter of the North Carolina Central University Alumni Association mailed fourteen boxes of personal items to soldiers fighting on foreign soil.  This is another of the chapter’s annual programs that provides service to soldiers who keep the peace.  Pictured l-r:  Samuel Williamson; Brenda Jeffreys; Hazel Sanders; Orlando Brooks, a member of the U.
