The 8th Annual HBCU Co-ed Softball Tournament was played on Saturday, May 22nd, 2010 at Parrish Womble Park in Holly Springs, North Carolina. This tournament was hosted by the local Triangle Alumni Chapters of Elizabeth City State University, Hampton University, Morgan State University, North Carolina A&T State University, North Carolina Central University, Saint Augustine’s College, Shaw University, and Winston Salem State University.

Children's Dental Health Emphasized |

Members of the Raleigh/Wake Chapter of the NCCU Alumni Association donated oral health items to children who are residents at the Salvation Army located in Raleigh, N. C. Robin Green, President of the Raleigh/Wake Chapter of the North Carolina Central University Alumni Association presents two gift bags to Barbara Jean Bailey, Guidance Counselor at North Garner Middle School for a needy student. During the Centennial year of the University, the Raleigh/Wake Chapter has sought to connect with the community and live out the University's mission of "Truth and Service". NCCU Alumni Support World Peace |

Military personnel risk their lives daily to keep this country and the world safe for all people. Members of the Raleigh/Wake Chapter of the North Carolina Central University Alumni Association mailed fourteen boxes of personal items to soldiers fighting on foreign soil. This is another of the chapter’s annual programs that provides service to soldiers who keep the peace.
