The 74th Founder’s Day Convocation at North Carolina Central University convened on Friday, November 5, 2021, at 9:00 A.M. in the McDougald-McLendon Arena, Durham, North Carolina. Chancellor Dr. Johnson O. Akinleye presided over the program, which included greetings from the Board of Trustees Chairman, Mr. Kevin M. Holloway, and the Founder’s Day Address by Dr. Harl’O M. Fisher, NCCU Class of 1971.
Dr. David H. Jackson, Jr., NCCU Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs led The Society of Golden Eagles Induction Ceremony. Due to last year’s cancellation of homecoming activities, the classes of 1970 and 1971 were inducted into the Society.
