What to Do When Stopped by Law Enforcement

Kimberly Moore presented a workshop to the North Carolina Central University Alumni Association, Raleigh/Wake Chapter members and guests on Thursday, January 26, 2017.

The title of the presentation was “What to Do When Stopped by Law Enforcement”.  During her presentation she shared that your 4th Amendment Rights protects against illegal search and seizure.  Ms. Moore also noted that as a citizen, you have a right to say no to the search of your vehicle without a warrant.  A double Eagle, Ms. Moore received her Undergraduate Degree in 1991 and her Law Degree in 1994 from North Carolina Central University.  Ms. Moore has worked in the State Attorney General’s Office, is currently on temporary assignment in the Bahamas, and upon return will be associated with the Jessie Jeffers Firm.  Pictured with Ms. Moore is Raleigh/Wake Chapter President Paul Bitting.
